HOW DO I PAY A PARKING TICKET?
Parking tickets can be paid at Borough Hall, 55 East Main Street, Monday - Friday, 8:00
a.m. - 5:00 p.m. or placed in the night deposit box.
If paid within 72 hours: $5.00
All fines are doubled when paid after 72 hours but within 10 days.
After 10 days: traffic citation filed with District Magistrate Pentz
HOW DO I OBTAIN A COPY OF A POLICE REPORT?
A copy of a police report can be requested through the Police Department at 57 East Main Street. There is a fee of $15.00 for current year reports and a $25.00 fee for previous years.
WHAT IS THE CURFEW IN WAYNESBORO?
For minors age 13 - 18, the curfew is imposed from 11:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m. Under the age of 13, the curfew is imposed from 9:30
p.m. - 5:00 a.m.
DOES WAYNESBORO HAVE A POLICE DOG?
Yes. Our current K-9, Sarge, joined the department in November of 2008.
Sarge is a Dutch Shepherd and was born September 11, 2007 in Slovakia.
Sarge was purchased from Castle's K-9 out of Mechanicsburg, PA with generous
donations from the community and local businesses. Sarge & his handler,
Cpl. John Shindledecker completed their training in March of 2009. He is a
patrol utility dog and trained in narcotic detection.
Ex (1998 - 2008)
Our previous K-9, named Ex, was born in the former Czech Republic in 1998 and was brought to the United States in March 2000. He joined the Waynesboro Police Department in May 2001 with his handler
Cpl. John Shindledecker. Ex was a patrol utility dog and was trained in narcotics apprehension.
Ex passed away in November 2008. Ex was a great asset to the community as well as the Department.
